I do hope you'll help me on this.
Recently, I've decided that with my Wacom Intuos that I have, I simply just cannot bring myself to train myself to get used to it. I'm going to get some slack for not devoting enough time to it, but it's the truth. I just can't do it.
To make matters worse, I have two Macs (one desktop and one monitor) specifically to do digital art. Now, I have thought about getting a Wacom Cintiq, but it requires a HDMI port, which my Macs do not have. The solution I have to that is to buy a MacBook that has a HDMI port so that I can use the Cintiq.
I have also thought about getting Procreate since I own a 6th generation iPad. It would mean getting an Apple Pencil though.
The thing is, I don't know what option to go for. I'd love to go for the MacBook option since it means I can use the bundled software that came with my Intuos, but I have heard that MacBooks are expensive. On the other hand, if I go for the Procreate option, I'll have to figure out how to unregister the Intuos and the art software it came with it. Plus, I don't know how deep the learning curve in Procreate is.
What do you guys think? Is it worth getting a MacBook despite the price? Or should I stick to Procrate? If you prefer a poll for this, let me know.
